Research project on medieval history of Eretz Israel/Palestine recognized as Center of Excellence

Four scholars from the Faculty of Humanities at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem were recently awarded a prestigious Center of Excellence fellowship from the Israel Science Foundation, for their project “The Formation of Islamic Society in Palestine, 600-1500”.
